Up close and personal, it was a different story - brick from the 90's and in the cracks, impossible to remove grass/dandelions/bindweed together with spirea seedlings that seemed to pop up everywhere. Not to mention all the uneven sections that collected water/ice and the rotting wood "frames". Yup - the photo doesn't do it justice...in terms of how bad it was, that is!Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2884216770926932676.post-18963097038591155562018-11-09T21:34:46.954-05:002018-11-09T21:34:46.954-05:00It really is so very satisfying! But the rejuvenated pathway looks great, too, and will be easier to maintain and probably safer, too, right? And holy cats--your bean harvest is so impressive. If I hadn't eaten supper already, you'd be making me hungry. ;-)Beth at PlantPostingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473637655960119672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2884216770926932676.post-32821020906768676792018-11-09T21:31:55.528-05:002018-11-09T21:31:55.528-05:00Thanks Jan :)Thanks Jan :)Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2884216770926932676.post-53381690373852255212018-11-08T23:26:19.032-05:002018-11-08T23:26:19.032-05:00I am eyeing your lovely haul of beans with a great...I am eyeing your lovely haul of beans with a great deal of envy. It looks very smart and you must be so pleased with it. What a great selection of beans, they're like little beads, aren't they? I find the seeds so tactile. We really enjoyed growing beans when we had the allotment, it's something the whole family will eat so we always grew plenty.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.com
